Yoga and Nature Weekend:
A weekend retreat in Sussex with Tammy and special guests!
11th -13th September at Laughton Lodge, Sussex
.
Be honest with yourself for a second - when were you last kind to yourself, when did you last properly switch off? 🧡
Not just ‘away from your phone’ but taking time to really nourish yourself, having no demands on you?
Well, this is what this weekend is for - for you! To take time to unwind, reset and relax. Over the weekend we will:
🪷Practice easeful, playful yoga — no pressure, no “getting it right”
🪷Walk the land with herbalist Tess and learn to see the plants around us differently
🪷Lie back for a harp sound bath that asks nothing of you but to receive it
🪷Eat delicious homemade food, made with care
🪷Camp in nature or enjoy a cosy room — whatever feels right for you
This isn’t a “productive self-care” weekend. It’s permission to put it all down for two days, and enjoy yoga and nature. Everything is optional, so you can take it at your own pace.

Venue
Laughton Lodge is a hidden gem in East Sussex, just 16 miles from Brighton. This community-owned space is set in its own expansive countryside, with adjacent woodland to wake up to the sound of birds. You’ll practice yoga in a sunny wide room overlooking the countryside, and relax in between sessions in the dining room with sofas, woodburners and views across the meadow towards the South Downs. Teachers
Tammy (Kind Heart Yoga) will hold the weekend. She is an experienced and established yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Her offerings include Vajrasati yoga (an explorative and playful practice), therapeutic yoga for nervous system regulation, outdoor yoga, meditation, and reflective practices. Tammy weaves her long commitment to mindfulness, kindness and meditation into her sharings, and her warm humour creates a lightness that gives freedom to find your own practice

"Tammy's teaching is a breath of fresh air and sunshine. I always feel cared for by her clear, experienced and fun approach to teaching"
Tess (Wildrooted Remedies) is a qualified herbalist and will share extended outdoor practice. She is passionate about sharing her love of herbs to enable people to recognise the plants around them and identify which are safe to harvest sustainably for food or as medicines.
Tess will lead us on a herb walk around the land.
Svenja (Star Songs Harp Sound Journeys) will share a harp sound bath meditative She loves sharing this musical journey where the melodies will be weaved through the traditional musical strands of relaxation, contemplation and peace. The music is played gently and can touch us in deep places that can offer healing and transformation of body and mind.
