Do you find life can be stressful and it’s hard to take time for yourself, which can affect your relationship to yourself and others? That you're often thinking about the past or catastrophising about the future...living in a virtual reality? Well, the good news is it is possible to live in a kinder, more present way by appreciating what is here now, which brings more compassion and joy into our lives. The theme of this workshop is cultivating self-love, not in a wishy-washy way but in a nourishing way of really taking care of yourself and cultivating calm and kindness in your own heart. This act of undoing is profoundly calming and therapeutic and research shows that it can significantly reduce stress and anxiety while promoting restful sleep. This will be a time for you to move into a deeper sense of relaxation, rejuvenation, and calm. We will move through a series of nourishing practices: 🌼 Gentle movement to support coming into the body, releasing tension, and preparing for the stillness of the restorative postures. 🌼 Soothing sounds from Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and the hang drum to support moving into a deeper sense of calm. 🌼 Pranayama (breathwork) and sound - to activate the vagus nerve and balance the nervous system. 🌼 Restorative postures where, supported by me, you will find comfort and release using bolsters, blocks, and blankets. Creating your own little cocoon, allowing your body to unwind and completely relax. When your body feels cared for and the mind can let go, we unlock our potential to restore and renew This workshop is held in an inclusive and trauma-sensitive way, with everything optional. You can be a seasoned yogi or new to the practice - everyone is welcome – just bring yourself, an open heart, and a willingness to slow down and be kind to yourself. Testimonials "Thank you for creating a really welcoming, lighthearted, supportive space. I was surprised how much I loved the sounds you created too...really meditative and a great way to bring back my mind whenever it wandered!" Thank you so much for a lovely couple of hours, and yes an unusually good night's sleep afterwards!! “My first try of restorative yoga. I enjoyed the gentle pace and the feeling of relaxation that I got from really resting in the supported postures. Tammy looked after us all beautifully and I
