June is almost here. The evenings are stretching out, the gardens are doing their thing, birds are singing, temperature jumping around in the very English summer way, the month of the summer solstice is nearly here, and very importantly, it's my birthday month :-)
It's also the last chance to grab the early bird price for my: Yoga and Nature weekend retreat - early bird offer closes on 1st June.
So if you’re thinking of joining but have been putting it off, or September feels ages away, now’s your moment to book - you can save money and hold your spot with a £75 deposit.
It’s easy to book other stuff - things for others, or with other people, but what about taking time for you?! Fun stuff is great but it can also be draining. A weekend of gentle yoga, nature practices, home-made nourishing food, held in a gentle way can help you recharge deeply.
Here’s a reminder of the details, and you can find the full brochure here
Yoga and Nature Weekend Retreat: 11th–13th September, Laughton Lodge, Sussex
Laughton Lodge is tucked into the East Sussex countryside about 16 miles from Brighton — meadows, woodland, birdsong, views of the South Downs. It's genuinely one of those places where you arrive and your shoulders drop.
Yoga with me — Explorative gentle yoga, therapeutic practices, outdoor movement, meditation and reflection.
A herb walk with Tess: the founder of Wildrooted Remedies, Tess is a professional herbalist with years of knowledge — walking with her is a chance to learn about the plants growing all around the area, to forage and make a seasonal tea with her.
A harp sound bath with Svenja from Star Songs — Deep, beautiful, and quietly transformative. A one-of-a-kind experience that's hard to describe, easy to feel, never to be forgotten.
All food is provided, and you can camp under the stars or take a room (if sleeping on the ground isn't quite your thing). Either way, you'll be well fed and well looked after.
It's a gentle, nourishing weekend — good company, good food, time in nature, time on the mat. It’s a chance to move into life experienced at a deeper level and a different pace, which in our chaotic, speedy times is more important than ever.
Earlybird price is £280, until 1st June. All details and the booking form are here, and as always, drop me a message if you have any questions.
Still not sure? Drop me a message — I'm always happy to chat it through. If you've been on retreat with me before, you'll know what to expect. If you haven't — well, perhaps this summer is the moment to find out.
